Through the General Bulk Lot Waste sub-tab, a technician can destroy miscellaneous waste from the Bulk Lot. This may be necessary if product spills, or if a portion of the Bulk Lot degrades or goes moldy while in storage. The General Bulk Lot Waste sub-tab also records waste destroyed in the Packaging Run Waste and Retained Sample Destruction sub-tabs.

Retained Sample Destruction

Through the Retained Sample Destruction sub-tab, a technician can destroy the Bulk Lot's retained sample(s). Health Canada requires licence holders to retain a sample of each Bulk Lot for at least one year after the last date of sale or provision. Once that year is up, the licence holder can destroy the sample. Waste destroyed in the Retained Sample Destruction sub-tab is also recorded in the General Bulk Lot Waste sub-tab.

Click Record New Destruction to Destroy a Retained Sample. If an error occurs, Revert the Retained Sample Destruction.
