Avoid opening a harvest through the Grow module, as plants will remain in the Harvesting status indefinitely, even after the harvest is complete. This is a known bug that will be resolved in time. In the meantime, Open Harvests through the Gun App.
Once a batch of plants have spent several weeks in the Flowering stage, a Grow Technician can open the batch for harvest. This process requires the technician to have a Fresh Bulk Lot already created. See How to Create a Bulk Lot for instructions.
Required permission(s): batch_read, bulk_lot_read, batch_update
In the Grow module, open the Batches tab.

Select a batch.
Note: Only batches in the Flowering stage can be opened for harvest. See How to Advance a Batch's Stage for instructions.
Click the
icon to open a menu of options.
Select Open Harvest. This opens the Open Harvest modal.
Click Use Existing Bulk Lot to open a menu of existing Fresh Bulk Lots.
Note: The option to create a new Bulk Lot is not yet functional in this workflow. This functionality will be added in a future release.
Select a Bulk Lot.
Click Open Harvest to open the harvest. A new Harvests tab will appear on the Batch Profile's header for Grow Technicians to track the harvest as it progresses.
All other processes involved in harvesting cannabis are done using the Gun App. Once the harvest is open, Harvest the Plants.
