Product strains allow a license holder to group products with similar characteristics. Some license holders create product strains that reflect the cannabis strain or species, while others use product strains to group products with similar potencies–High THC, High CBD, etc. Once all products are assigned a product strain, you can sort the Products index by the strains column for easy navigation.
Required permission(s): product_read
In the Products module, open the Settings tab.
Open the Product Strains sub-tab.
Click New to open the Create Product Strain modal.
Enter a name for the new product strain in the field provided.
Click Save to add the new entry to the list of product strains.
To change a product's strain, visit Edit tab in the Product's Profile.
From the Product Settings tab, you can also Create a New Product Tag or Create a New Product Type.
