Usually, Grow Technicians designate a plant as a Mother upon the plant's creation. However, technicians can grant or revert a plant's Mother status at any time through the Gun App.

Required permission(s): plant_read, plant_update

How to Mark a Plant as a Mother

1. Open a plant's summary page by scanning its barcode or clicking on a hyperlink.

   

2. Click the

   

   icon to open a menu of options.

   

3. Select Mark As Mother. This opens a modal for confirmation.

   

4. Click Convert to Mother. The plant is now a Mother plant.

   

How to Revert a Mother Plant's Status

1. Open a Mother plant's summary page by scanning its barcode or clicking on a hyperlink.

   

2. Click the

   

   icon to open a menu of options.

   

3. Select Revert Mother Status. This opens a modal for confirmation.

   

4. Click Undo Status to remove the plant's status as a Mother.

   

Through the Gun App, a Grow Technician can also Change the Mother Status of an Entire Batch.
