The Weight Events tab in the Bulk Lot Profile records changes to the Bulk Lot's weight as they occur. However, you can manually enter weight events if the Bulk Lot undergoes a change in weight that is not directly linked to a process within the Seed-to-Sale software. For example, a Fresh Bulk Lot may lose weight over time to drying loss, or there may be some extra weight/volume/discrete units left over after a Mass Packaging Run that must be returned to the Bulk Lot. Follow the process below to manually create a weight event.

Click New Event. This opens the New Weight Event modal.
Enter information about the new event in the fields provided. Please note that the Volume and Discrete Units fields will only appear if the Bulk Lot uses those units of measure.
Setting Inventory Weight to YES will reset the weight of the Bulk Lot to the weight/volume/discrete units entered.
Setting Inventory Weight to NO and using a positive value will add weight/volume/discrete units to the Bulk Lot. This is most commonly used for Mass Packaging Reconciliation.
Setting Inventory Weight to NO and using a negative value will subtract weight/volume/discrete units from the Bulk Lot. This is most commonly used for dry-loss reconciliation.
Click Create to finalize the new weight event.
From the Weight Events tab, you can also Transfer Weight Between Bulk Lots or Split Weight into a New Bulk Lot.
