The Shipping module consolidates orders into shipment batches for carriers at time of pick-up. This allows a licence holder to ship multiple orders at once rather than shipping orders individually. When you open the Shipping module, an index of shipment batches opens by default.
The Shipment Batches index provides a high-level summary of all shipment batches saved to the licence holder's system. Each line in the shipment batches table displays pertinent information for a shipment batch:
ID: The shipment batch's unique ID number.
Created At: The date and time at which the shipment batch was created.
Status: The shipment batch's status.
Orders: The number of orders grouped into the shipment batch.
Select a shipment batch from the list to open the Shipment Batch's Profile.
Click New to Create a New Shipment Batch.
