Follow the steps below to extend a prescription affected by Health Canada's COVID-19 prescription extension policy.
Please note that this process will be automated by a one-time script for any client who pays for the premium prescription extension feature. A licence holder with the premium feature can Extend Prescriptions for clients created after the one-time script from the COVID-19 Prescription Extension tab.
- In the Clients module, select a client.
- Open the Prescriptions tab.
- Select the client's most recent prescription. The prescription's expiration date must be between March 13, 2020 and September 30, 2020.
- Beneath the Length of Prescription field, check the Extended Prescription box. This ensures the prescription is counted as "extended" in relevant reports.
- Adjust the Length of Prescription field accordingly.

- Click Save to finalize the extension.
A licence holder can keep track of clients with extended prescriptions through a new report in the Client Reports tab.
