Archiving a physician prevents Customer Service Representatives–or CSRs–from associating the physician to any new prescriptions, without affecting existing prescriptions. If a physician is archived in error, click Restore Archived to restore the physician to the Active status.
Required permission(s): physician_read, physician_archive
- In the Medical Settings module, open the Physicians tab. It should be open by default.
- Select a physician to open the Physician's Profile.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page, and click Archive. This opens the Archive Physician confirmation modal.
- Click OK to archive the physician.
