How to Add Tags to a Product

A product tag is a piece of metadata that identifies a specific characteristic of a product that may not appear anywhere in the product's description. This improves searchability in the Client Portal. To add a tag to a product, follow the steps below.

Required permission(s): product_read, product_update

1. In the Products module, select a product.

2. Open the Tags tab.

   

3. Click New. This opens the Find Tag modal.

   

4. Click on a tag to apply it to the product.

   

   • Note*: Visit the Product Settings tab to Create a New Product Tag.*

If an error occurs, Remove the Tag from the Product.
